Rosie Birkett's Wild Garlic and Cheddar Scones

I can’t even slightly claim the credit for this, but I remember I did have some gruyere to hand so swapped out half of the cheddar for that. A plate of these beautiful green-flecked scones on the kitchen windowsill is a welcoming spring treat after a stroll outside, especially when warmed and slathered in salted butter.
